Manufacturing is a conscious act of manufacturing something useful, i.e. a product. It can be a material product or a service. The production system is a series of processes and operations in certain interconnections based on specific principles and rules in a defined environment. Management of a system is important for its maintenance, i.e. managing revises and adapts a system to market needs and improves a company’s overall performance.
